International Maarif School of Australia (Maarif) aims to establish an independent coeducational school offering educational programs endorsed and approved by NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) from Kindergarten to Year 12. Maarif Schools recognise that for effective learning to take place students need to feel safe and supported.
In 2020, the school provides for Early Stage 1, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 (K-5). In 2021, the school provides for Early Stage 1, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3. In the year of 2022 the school provides for Early Stage 1, Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 and Stage 4.
The school introduces and implements bilingual education. Bilingual Education will give students the opportunity to communicate in Turkish in a very natural and inclusive learning environment which reinforces the fact that communicating in Turkish is a living experience and it is part of the curriculum. Being bilingual has many potential advantages such as increasing mental flexibility, improving intercultural skills, increasing opportunities for global exchange to students, schools and society.
Time allocation for Turkish classes are 7 class hours a week in Primary, and 4 class hours a week in High School. Turkish will be taken as an elective for the HSC.
Parents wishing to enrol their child at a school will be made aware of the culture of the school, its education offerings, the terms on which a child is enrolled as a student and the responsibilities of parents of children enrolled before the parent makes a commitment.

The procedures for enrolment of students include the following elements:

Parents wishing to enrol their child at International Maarif School of Australia needs to be aware of the culture of the School, its education offerings, the terms on which a child is enrolled as a student and the responsibilities of parents of children enrolled before the parent makes a commitment.

An application form outlining the conditions of entry of the School is submitted by parents with the background documents. Non-refundable application fee (150$) is paid only for the School year applied.

After submitting the application form and application fee, there is an entrance exam for students and interview with the parents and the student to assist in establishing that the expectations of the parents can be met.

Details of special circumstances of the student that may need to be taken into account by the School (such as medical conditions, special gifts or talents, special needs, psychological test results, results of testing that may impact on the student's education, English as a second language).

If the interview is found successful, a letter of offer of enrolment is sent to the parents of the student(s) which again contains the conditions of entry to the School.

The parents may accept the offer, agreeing to the terms.

The completion of the enrolment form and accepting the offer does not guarantee the child a place. At the point of enrolment, parents must pay the first term tuition fee to guarantee the child’s place at the School.

The School is ensure that all enrolment data is maintained for students electronically. A copy of the signed Enrolment Application, Enrolment Contract, certified copies of Visa, Birth Certificate, Medical Information is maintained in hard/soft copy on the student’s file.
